Kyle started working in the mental health field in 1998, as a Residential Counselor at Advent Group in San Jose California. He lived and worked in the boys program, helping adolescents work through their court ordered treatment of drug and alcohol addictions. This experience, although extremely difficult inspired him to start graduate school to become a psychotherapist.

While attending Seattle Pacific University, Kyle started a clinical internship at the Student Counseling Center at Northwest University. Upon graduation in 2002, Kyle was given the opportunity to work at the Student Counseling Center at Seattle Pacific University. For the next five years Kyle enjoyed helping students with many different issues and concerns. Kyle practiced individual therapy as well as couple, family and group sessions.

In 2007 Kyle joined a group practice, Wolborsky & Associates, where he enjoyed working with adolescents and adults, doing individual, couple and family therapy. This practice also provided Kyle the unique opportunity to contract with the 20/20 Lifestyles Program at the Pro Club in Bellevue where he was able to help clients address their addictions with food and learn to embrace a healthy lifestyle.

In the Fall of 2012 Kyle decided to pursue an independent private practice.
